Anoint the World University: Spirit-Centered, Christ-Focused Theological Education

At Anoint the World University, we are committed to delivering a Spirit-empowered, Christ-focussed, and biblically grounded education to students called to ministry, leadership, and service. We seek applicants whose lives reflect a clear sense of calling and a deep desire to grow both spiritually and academically.

Admissions Requirements

1. Faith Commitment

Applicants must:

• Demonstrate a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a consistent walk of faith.
• Affirm agreement with Anoint the World University’s Statement of Faith, which upholds the Bible as the infallible, inerrant Word of God and the supreme authority in life, faith, and education.
• Be actively involved in a local church or ministry, verified through a pastoral reference.

2. Educational Background

Undergraduate Programs

• Applicants must have completed secondary education through an accredited high school, homeschool program, or equivalent (e.g., GED).
• Homeschooled students must provide evidence of completion that complies with local or state education standards.
• International applicants must certify completion of the equivalent of a U.S. high school diploma and submit verifiable academic documentation.
  
  

Dual Enrollment (High School Students)

• Eligible high school students may enroll in select courses with written authorization from their school administrator.
• A maximum of 30 credit hours may be earned before high school graduation.
  
  

Graduate Programs

• Master’s Programs: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required.
• Doctoral Programs: A master’s degree from an accredited institution is required, with a minimum of 60 graduate credit hours.
  
  

3. English Language Proficiency

Applicants whose primary language is not English must provide evidence of proficiency through one of the following assessments:

* Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)

* International English Language Testing System (IELTS)

* Pearson Test of English (PTE)

Additional Options

Anoint the World University may accept other internationally recognized assessments may be considered if minimum score requirements are met.

English Proficiency Waiver Policy

Applicants may request a waiver of the English proficiency requirement if they meet one of the following criteria:

• Successfully completed secondary or post-secondary education at an institution where English was the primary language of instruction.
• Hold a degree from a recognized college or university located in a country where English is the official language of instruction.
  

4. Submission of Academic Transcripts

• Official transcripts must be submitted from all previously attended institutions.
• Transcripts must be sent directly to Anoint the World University from the issuing institution or via an authorized transcript service.
• Electronic transcripts are accepted if sent securely through an approved platform.
  
  

5. Conditional Enrollment

Applicants may be permitted to begin coursework while awaiting final transcripts or other documentation. Full admission status will be conferred upon receipt and verification of all required documents.

6. International Students

Anoint the World University invites students from across the globe to become part of our Christ-focussed, fully online academic community. Our programs are delivered 100% online, offering convenient, high-quality education that can be accessed from virtually anywhere in the world. To support international student success in an online learning environment, we have outlined the following information, including English language proficiency standards.

Transferring Students are welcome at Anoint the World University, however, an official copy of a transcript from your previous school/s is required.  It will then be reviewed and determined which classes must be taken to meet graduation requirements. Student transcripts must be on file before a student commences their course.  

FOREIGN TRANSCRIPT POLICY

If a student is submitting a transcript from a foreign country, they are asked to please have the school translate the official transcript into English before sending it.  If this is not possible, ATWU will be required to complete one or all of the following steps, and the student will incur a fee.  Fees will be on a case-by-case basis, and the student will be notified of the cost IN ADVANCE.

Student Visa Policy (Remote Access)

As Anoint the World University offers exclusively online degree programs with no in-person or on-campus attendance required, we do not issue student visas (such as the F-1 visa) for international students. All coursework can be completed remotely, allowing students to engage in their studies from their home country or any location with stable internet access.

Important: Enrollment at Anoint the World University does not make students eligible to apply for a U.S. student visa, as there are no physical residency or attendance requirements. International applicants are encouraged to verify that participation in a U.S.-based online education program complies with their home country’s legal and educational guidelines.

Transfer Credit Policy

Anoint the World University evaluates transfer credits with a focus on academic integrity and course equivalency. The following guidelines apply:

• Undergraduate Programs: Up to 90 credit hours may be transferred.
• Master’s Programs: Up to 15 credit hours may be transferred.
• Doctoral Programs: Up to 6 credit hours may be transferred.

Transfer credits must meet the following grade thresholds:

• Undergraduate: Grade of “C” or higher
• Graduate: Grade of “B” or higher
  
  

Credits must come from accredited institutions; however, Anoint the World University also considers prior learning assessments (e.g., AP, CLEP, life experience) on a case-by-case basis.
