Transfer Students Policy

Anoint the World University (ATWU) welcomes transfer students from accredited or recognized institutions. Transfer credit is evaluated on a case-by-case basis to ensure alignment with ATWU’s academic standards and degree requirements.

Transcript Submission Requirements

  • Students seeking to transfer credits must submit official transcripts from all previously attended institutions.
  • Transcripts must be received and evaluated before the student begins coursework at ATWU.
  • Transcript evaluations will not be conducted prior to enrollment.
  • Official transcripts must be sealed and sent directly from the issuing institution or submitted in an approved secure digital format.

International Transcripts

If the transcript originates from an institution outside the United States, it must be:

  • Translated into English by the issuing institution or a qualified third-party agency; and
  • Accompanied by an evaluation report verifying equivalency to U.S. academic standards.

If a translation is not available from the issuing institution, ATWU will assist in obtaining a verified translation. Students will be notified of the process and any associated fees in advance. These costs will vary depending on the service required.

Credit Transfer Evaluation

ATWU will review transcripts to determine which credits are transferable and what remaining courses are required for graduation. Transfer credit decisions will be based on:

  • Course equivalency
  • Course level and credit hours
  • Grade earned (typically a minimum of “C” required)
  • Institutional accreditation or recognition

ATWU reserves the right to request additional documentation such as course descriptions or syllabi.
