STUDENT VERIFICATION & ACADEMIC INTEGRITY POLICY

Anoint the World University (ATWU) is committed to ensuring the integrity of its academic programs and protecting the identity and privacy of its students. To comply with international accreditation standards, maintain academic credibility, and safeguard student records, ATWU has implemented the following Student Verification Policy for all learners engaged in online coursework.

Academic Integrity & Identity Verification Policy
Upholding Integrity at Anoint the World University

At Anoint the World University, we are committed to academic excellence and integrity in a Christ-honoring environment. To ensure that all coursework and assessments reflect the efforts of the enrolled student, we implement secure identity verification measures throughout the learning process.

  1. Student Identity Verification

ATWU verifies student identity at multiple stages in the academic process, including:

  • Unique Login Credentials: Each student is issued a unique username and password upon enrollment. These credentials are required to access the university’s Learning Management System (LMS), submit assignments, and take assessments.
  • Secure Login Environment: All logins are encrypted and monitored. System alerts are triggered in the event of suspicious activity or unauthorized access attempts.
  • Student Profile Records: Students must maintain accurate personal information on file, including full legal name, date of birth, and a government-issued ID copy (as part of the admissions or onboarding process).

  1. Academic Integrity and Login Confidentiality

To maintain the integrity of all academic activity:

  • Students are strictly prohibited from sharing their login credentials with any other individual.
  • No other person may access the LMS, complete assignments, or participate in assessments on behalf of the enrolled student.
  • Students are expected to complete all coursework, discussions, and exams independently unless collaborative work is specifically required by the course.

  1. Violations and Disciplinary Action

Failure to comply with student verification and academic honesty standards may result in:

  • Immediate suspension or expulsion from ATWU
  • Invalidation of coursework or loss of credit
  • Notification to relevant external agencies, if required by law or accreditation standards

ATWU reserves the right to conduct random verification checks, which may include:

  • Requiring government-issued identification for verification
  • Scheduling live video proctoring or recorded assessment reviews
  • Requiring oral or written reaffirmation of authorship for submitted work

  1. Student Responsibility

Students are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of their login credentials
  • Logging out after each session
  • Immediately reporting any suspected unauthorized access to the Registrar or Academic Office

By enrolling at ATWU, students agree to abide by this policy and understand that violations may result in academic and disciplinary penalties.
